George Paz
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
George Paz drives Express Scripts' strategic direction to ensure alignment with clients to deliver better, more cost-effective health outcomes for millions of people. George joined Express Scripts in 1998 as senior vice president and chief financial officer and became president in 2003. In 2005 he was named chief executive officer and the following year was elected chairman of the board. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Honeywell, Inc. George holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Keith Ebling
Executive Vice President & General Counsel
Keith Ebling leads all legal and compliance matters, government affairs and business development opportunities at Express Scripts, and has responsibility for the supply chain management function. He joined Express Scripts in 1996 and has served the company in numerous legal and business roles; in 2008 he was named executive vice president and general counsel. Keith is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and various bar associations, and he graduated with distinction from Saint Louis University School of Law. Additionally, Keith earned his MBA at the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. Keith reports directly to George Paz.
Jeff Hall
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Hall leads all financial operations of Express Scripts and has responsibility for international business and our subsidiaries. Jeff has held this position since he joined the company in 2008. Prior to his role with Express Scripts, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of KLA-Tencor. He is a Certified Management Accountant and earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University and his MBA from the University of Dayton. Jeff reports directly to George Paz.
Christine Houston
Senior Vice President - Pharma & Retail Relations
Chris Houston oversees all enterprise-wide procurement activities including negotiating and contracting with pharmaceutical companies and retail entities. Chris joined the company in 1997 and has held numerous leadership positions. Most recently, she was appointed vice president and general manager of pharmacy operations in 2009. Chris reports directly to Keith Ebling.
Ed Ignaczak
Executive Vice President - Sales & Marketing
Ed Ignaczak leads Express Scripts' sales and marketing functions. Ed joined Express Scripts as vice president and general manager of the national employer division following the acquisition of ValueRx in April 1998. He became senior vice president of sales and account management in December 2002. Ed earned dual bachelor's degrees in business administration and economics from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a master's degree in marketing and international business from Duquesne University. Ed reports directly to George Paz.
Pat McNamee
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Pat McNamee leads all core operations, including pharmacies, specialty operations, call centers, client services and IT. Pat joined Express Scripts in 2004 as senior vice president and chief information officer, expanding his role to its current scope in 2007. He attended Marquette University and holds a bachelor's degree and master's degree in biomedical engineering. Pat reports directly to George Paz.
Steve Miller, MD
Senior Vice President & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Steve Miller's focus is on supporting government relations, leading the Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee, managing the Medical Affairs team and interfacing with client groups. Steve has served as chief medical officer since 2006 and has been a valuable leader in all clinical matters, including our e-prescribing initiatives, our specialty offering and overall product development. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and he trained in the Pathology and Research fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and in cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco. Steve also earned his MBA at the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. Steve reports directly to George Paz.
Glen Stettin, MD
Senior Vice President - Clinical, Research & New Solutions
Dr. Glen Stettin heads up clinical products, Consumerology®, the therapeutic resource centers, specialty, channel, trend and formulary management, as well as integrated health solutions. Glen earned his bachelor and medical degrees through Lehigh University and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also served as Medical Chief Resident at Moffitt-Long Hospital, Fellow in cardiology and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar at UCSF and Stanford University. Glen reports directly to Ed Ignaczak.
Sara Wade
Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer
Sara Wade is responsible for aligning Express Scripts' human resources and business strategies, leading the development and implementation of human resources initiatives, and ensuring the continued development of a strong and effective human resources organization. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA at the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. Sara reports directly to George Paz.
Tim Wentworth
Senior Vice President & President - Sales & Account Management
Tim Wentworth heads Express Scripts' core sales and account management teams – including employer groups (commercial), health plans, Department of Defense and new sales. Wentworth graduated with a bachelor's degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University. Tim reports directly to Ed Ignaczak.
Gary Wimberly
Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer
Gary Wimberly manages overall IT strategy and performance, specifically focusing on innovative solutions, process improvements and improving productivity. Gary is responsible for ensuring the information systems are aligned with business strategies. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Gary reports directly to Pat McNamee.
Larry Zarin
Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer
Larry Zarin is responsible for all activities related to strategic marketing initiatives, including overall brand management, new product introductions, corporate communications, and corporate events. Larry began working for Express Scripts in 1996 as president of Express Scripts Vision. He headed the integration of two of the company's major acquisitions and then moved into corporate marketing in 2001. He graduated from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. Larry reports directly to Ed Ignaczak.
