About
Danielle Smith, Sr. Director, User Experience Research & Accessibility, is responsible for bringing human data and insights to the Express Scripts design and development practice.

Danielle has 15 years of experience in user experience research and design strategy, including three years at Lockheed Martin Space Systems and five years at Dell. She has a deep understanding of human factors, usability, market research and complex commercial technology development. Her experience applying user research to product development and marketing will help Express Scripts deliver industry-leading user-centered healthcare experiences.

Danielle has PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with a specialization in Human Factors from Rice University and earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Louisiana State University. Her work has appeared in the Handbook of Warnings, Advances in Patient Safety, the publications of IEEE, Society of Human Resource Development, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, the International Ergonomics Society, and the Journal of Biomedical Informatics.
