How do I transfer my prescriptions from the pharmacy I use now?

Express Scripts® Pharmacy will receive qualifying prescriptions with refills remaining from your prior home delivery pharmacy provider on July 1, 2021. On or after this date, you’ll be able to register online.

Some prescriptions will not be moved, such as prescriptions for controlled substances, medicines regulated by the government, or prescriptions that have expired or do not have any refills left. For those prescriptions, you can ask your doctor to send new prescriptions to Express Scripts® Pharmacy.

What do I need to do to be prepared for July 1, 2021?

Create an account using your member ID located on the front of your health insurance card. It will only take a few minutes.

Your prescriptions with refills remaining will be automatically transferred to our pharmacy. If you’re out of refills, have an expired prescription, or need a new prescription, you can ask your doctor to send any new prescriptions electronically, by phone, or directly to Express Scripts® Pharmacy. Your doctor can call (888) 327-9791 for prescriber instructions. Make sure you provide your doctor with your member ID number on the front of your member card.

Will I pay a different price for my prescriptions? Where can I find out how much my they will cost?

The price of your medication is set by your health plan and there could be a change from what you paid in the past. Please contact your health plan for the most accurate pricing information.

Can I fill all my prescriptions through home delivery from Express Scripts® Pharmacy?

You can order up to a 3-month supply of long-term, maintenance medication to be delivered to your home. It’s one of the most cost-effective, convenient ways to fill prescriptions and may help save you money.

Will my payment and communication preferences transfer over to Express Scripts® Pharmacy?

No, your preferences will not be carried over from your previous pharmacy, so please update your profile when ordering your medications.

I need to refill my medicine soon. Do I use Express Scripts® Pharmacy or my current pharmacy?

If you need to refill your medication before July 1, 2021, you should contact your current pharmacy. If you need your medication the first week of July 1, 2021, please order your medication from your current pharmacy and then, if you have refills remaining, they will transfer to our pharmacy.

When will I get my medications delivered? Can I track my medications?

Orders are usually processed within 48 hours and shipped within 5 days after we receive them. You can track your orders in your online account or the mobile app.

Is there a delivery/shipping fee?

Standard shipping is free. Orders are sent in tamper-evident, weather-resistant, unmarked packaging that ensures your privacy. Medications are delivered by your regular carrier, unless the medication requires special handling, such as refrigeration. At your request, Express Scripts® Pharmacy can mail prescriptions to a secondary address.

Is there a payment plan option?

Yes. Express Scripts® Pharmacy offers an Extended Payment Plan that gives you flexibility to pay for your medication in three monthly installments. You can choose to pay in installments when you place your order.

Does Express Scripts® Pharmacy accept coupons?

Express Scripts® Pharmacy does not currently accept manufacturer and/or online coupons (ex. GoodRx).
