Starting Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, Express Scripts will be the new pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) for TRS-Care Medicare Rx. We’re here to help you understand your prescription benefits and make it convenient and affordable for you and your family to get the prescription medications you may need. Learn more about why TRS-Care Medicare Rx chose Express Scripts Medicare® (PDP) to serve you.

If Express Scripts Medicare doesn't cover one of your medications, we will contact you with instructions for finding another medication.

ID Cards

You can keep using your SilverScript prescription ID cards through Dec. 31, 2023. Express Scripts will send you a new ID card that is effective Jan. 1, 2024. If you don’t get a card or ID number, please download the Temporary ID Card template or you can call Express Scripts TRS-Care Medicare Rx Customer Support at (844) 863-5324.

Home Delivery

By choosing home delivery by Express Scripts® Pharmacy, you can get up to a 3-month supply of your long-term medications shipped right to your door.

To get started with home delivery, ask your doctor to send an electronic prescription to Express Scripts^® Pharmacy or call Express Scripts TRS-Care Medicare Rx Customer Support at (844) 863-5324.

Retail Pharmacies

For short-term medications, you could save money by choosing a network retail pharmacy. We can help you find a pharmacy in your network. Changes to our pharmacy network may occur during the benefit year as we work with pharmacies to get you lower prices.

Want a 3-month supply from a retail pharmacy? Participating network pharmacies can fill a 60- to 90-day supply of medication.

Specialty Medications

Accredo is our specialty pharmacy that serves patients with complex and chronic health conditions. Specialty trained pharmacists, nurses, and clinicians are available 24/7 to help you manage your condition. Accredo can safely deliver medications which require temperature control or other specialized handling. You can schedule delivery to your home or doctor’s office.
